Ex-Senator John Lynch was once one of the most powerful Democrats in the Garden State. He walked into Newark federal court Friday and entered a guilty plea to charges of tax evasion and corruption regarding questionable deals.
Prosecutors believe Lynch used his influence to make money. He faces up to five years in prison and up to $250,000 fine.

Lynch's developer / business partner has also pleaded guilty.
